One of the most beautiful things about the city is that music comes alive every night of the week. But those truly magical moments? They only happen on special occasions.
This was one of those nights. On a clear evening on the Lower East Side, the room was buzzing, packed with musicians, fans, DJs, photographers, dancers, and more. It was Producer Mondays at NuBlu, curated by Ray Angry, where the underground music scene’s finest come together. Ray has always shown me a lot of love, and on this night, we took the stage in a purely improvisational way.
The rule of the night? No cover songs. Just raw creativity. Make it up, figure it out, and most importantly, have a good time.
